Internet?

There are many options for internet plans in Copenhagen.

Some students will recommend Lycamobile, but I had friends who were never able to use their Lyca Danish numbers to call, and the customer service was quite poor.

Personally, I opted for a Lebara physical sim card since my phone supports dual physical-esim. My plan was 59 dkk a month and included:

  • 50 GB of danish data

  • Unlimited text in Denmark

  • 10 hours of calls in Denmark

  • 2 hours of international calls

  • 10 GB of international data in the EU/Schengen/UK areas

I really liked that Lebara had top-up options for extra roaming data too, which meant I didn't need to spend money on another e-sim, and got fast, EU data when I traveled. Keep in mind, if your Lebara data doesn't come in properly, you can go to your sim card settings and choose manual roaming data providers. There, you can test each one until your data connection resumes. Mine broke while returning to Nice, France from Monaco, and I spent a good 20 minutes in Paris sorting that out.
